The book project, At Arm’s Length, was made over the spring of 2011 and will be printed and bound this summer in a limited edition of 100 artist books.
The idea of this book project began by my asking friends and students to nominate who they thought was the most beautiful male in the Greensboro area. I then introduced myself to the nominees and photographed them. As a collection, the project represents a varied response to the ideal/standard of male beauty.
